Midday Oasis livestream concerts will come back after the Lunar New Year holidays! On February 7, four talented undergraduate students from the Music Department: Cynthia Yu (Soprano), Li Man Hei (Countertenor), Jodie Kwok (Piano) & Matthew Wong (Piano) will bring you a great variety of songs. Programme includes Handel’s “Dove sei, amato bene” from Rodelinda, Handel’s “Lascia ch’io pianga” from Rinaldo, Schubert’s “Sei mir gegrüßt”, Donizetti’s “Prendi, per me sei libero” from L’Elisir d’amore, and Gustave Charpentier’s “Depuis Le Jour” from Louise. On February 14, organists Helon Kwan & Anne Lam will play on the Kleuker organ that has been installed in the sanctuary of Chung Chi College Chapel for almost half a century. They will perform Sir Charles Villiers Stanford’s “Fantasia and Toccata in D minor, Op 57”, movements from Vierne’s “Organ Symphony No. 6 in B minor, Op. 59” and works by J.S. Bach.
